    January Updates

As you’ll already know, January has already been a little bit of a shitshow the way that 2020 set in motion. I can’t do anything about the political situation, but I can share some good book and personal news with you! I am now the proud owner of a Kitchenaid stand mixer which makes me feel like an Actual Adult for reasons unknown. I’m extremely excited to have basically all of the equipment I need to make ALL THE RECIPES! I’m hoping to get a chance to do more meringues now that I don’t have to stress out my arms by using the hand mixer. Check out my instagram for updates on…

    Happy Holidays, Friends!

I’ve been struggling to figure out what exactly to say in this newsletter. After my last email, I received quite a few emailed threats because I dared to speak up about something that’s important to me. Those people have now been removed from this mailing list and blocked from signing up again, but it really took a toll on me. With that in mind, I’d like to be blatantly clear about something. I write queer romance. Most of my romances take place in places much like where I grew up in North Carolina. I aim to make every one of my books (and every community I’m in) a more inclusive…

    Help Support Southern Democracy!

Hey, friends! I know I said I had no more news this month, but well, the world had other plans. Luckily, it’s fun news! If you’ve been paying attention to the elections in the State of Georgia, you’ll know that there are a lot of big fucking problems with everything in that state. Luckily, two big elections have gone to runoffs that will happen in January. Stacy Abrams and so many other Democrats have been working their asses off to help make Georgia a little more equitable and a little bit blue-er. They’re going to need money to do that and Romancelandia is going to help them do it. Myself…

    Happy Fall, Y’all!

Does November actually count as fall? I’m honestly not sure anymore, but it’s a cute title and I’m sticking with it. I’m gonna keep this a lot shorter than the other two newsletters on this platform, and this will likely be my only newsletter in November because, frankly, we’re all a little tired. I just want to say that I am so incredibly grateful to every single one of you for reading these newsletters, for reading my books, for leaving reviews, even for liking my cat pictures! You don’t have to be here but I am always so glad that you are. If you’ve read my books, it would mean…
