Well, folks, we made it to 2021. It may not be much, but we’re here and there’s plenty to be said for that!
There are quite a few new folks on the subscriber list thanks to a couple of newsletter builders I’ve been doing! If you’re one of them, I’m glad to have you! I hope you’ve read News Flash and plan on sticking around. If not, I’m sorry to see you go but I wish you all the peace and happiness in the world.
The next time you hear from me, I will have a pre-order link AND a cover reveal for you for the Second Chances anthology I’m a part of. For now, I’d like to offer you a teaser with the short synopsis of my story!
The Best Places by Candace Harper –
When Rebecca Reid became widowed, her menacing in-laws and the lack of support from her best friend drove her and her young daughter out of town forever. Years later, Rebecca’s happy life is disrupted by a letter naming her the executor of her deceased in-laws’ estate. Forced to return to judgmental Covington, Rebecca finds herself working with her former best friend—and unable to deny the lingering feelings between them.
There’s a poodle, a teenager who’s too wise for her own good, and a whole lot of feelings. I can’t wait to share the whole story with all of you. It’ll be released February 9!
I may also have news on the audiobook front for Hugs and Quiches! My narrator is hard at work getting the files ready to go into Amazon’s clutches. I’m hoping to have it out sometime in February as well!
In the meantime, I’ll be working on plenty of other things and reading up a storm. My first few reads of the new year have been books 6, 7, 8 and 9 of the Beyond series by Kit Rocha. Slide into the comments and tell me what you’ve been reading! I’m always looking for good recommendations!
If you’re looking for some recs, check out some promos I’m a part of through Storyorigin and Bookfunnel!
I hope you find something excellent! Until we meet again, please be safe!
